Futsal (pronounced foot-sall) comes from the Portuguese phrase futebol de salão which translates as indoor soccer. Futsal is 5-a-side indoor soccer, played on a basketball sized court with a smaller weighted, low bounce ball. Futsal promotes player development by encouraging quality touches, speed of play and fitness. Not to mention it's a lot of fun!
