Registration

Most players will go through the normal registration process that begins in April/May. Registration normally would be done on-line, with the instructions, form and links found on our web site.

  1. By completing these steps you are indicating your interest in joining Sol Soccer Club.
  2. Log-in or Create an account: www.solsoccer.org
  3. START HERE or click Register button on upper right corner of Home Page
  4. Enter a username and password (keep this to obtain Sol account information anytime or to sign up for future Sol events)
  5. Check 2017-18 Registration under Available Programs
  6. Submit your minimum $200 refundable registration fee payment (check, cash or credit card). Refund policy at www.solsoccer.org

Program Fees

Registration fee is $200.00, payable by credit card***, check, or cash.
Player Membership (10 months): $1,000.00
Siblings receive a 25% discount off Player Membership
Returned Check Fee $25.00

Membership fees will be $1000/player (siblings receive a 25% discount). This sum is paid to the club to cover coach/trainer, goalkeeper trainer, professional development, field rental, league and tournament registration, and administrative costs. Payment can be made in four installments, but alternatives may be agreed upon. First $250 payment will be on August 1st and will continue monthly until November 1st. Training fee refunds will be prorated from August 1st. 

Each team may have team-specific costs, such as extra tournaments, team building events, etc. Families may be asked to volunteer for 1 or 2 fundraising events to help offset team and/or player expenses. Alternatively, the team manager/treasurer may ask for a modest sum (usually well below $200) to fund the season, with payment likely before Sept.1st. Families may ask for payment to be made in installments. That conversation must be with the team manager/treasurer.
Players who join the club after placements have concluded will be contacted by the team manager and/or the club administrator. If you do not hear from one of these people within a week of being placed on a team, you must contact the club administrator at dalary@solsoccer.org.

Registration Refund Policy

Player’s circumstances may change between registration in the spring and the start of the soccer season in the fall.  Injuries, family moves, or just a change in heart or circumstance are a few of the drivers of change.  Because the Club incurs costs triggered by registration (administrative, equipment, staff, etc.) that increase over time, your refund amount will be reduced the longer you wait to apply for the refund. In addition, every refund request will incur a $25 administrative fee that will be deducted from the original amount.

The following are the cut-off dates and percentage of registration amount returned:

From Registration thru June 30th             100% less admin fee ($25)
From July 1st thru Aug. 1st                         50%
From Aug. 1st onwards                                No refunds

Refund requests must be emailed to SOL SC OFFICE (dalary@solsoccer.org). Informing your coach or a board member is not sufficient. Please include your mailing address, original amount paid, and daughter’s name and age group. 

The first step is to register on-line or through mailing the registration form if the system is unavailable. If appropriate, training fees will be adjusted for a late start with the team. Parents will be responsible for ordering uniforms from Soccerloco.com. Please understand that there may be a delay in receiving the uniforms as these are generally not stocked since are specific to Sol.

Program Cost

Total Fee $1200/10 month seasonal year ***
Program Fee Includes:

  • Registration Fee: $200
  • Trained and Licensed Coaches (2 X week training + games) and Goalkeeper Training
  • Practice Gear (short, socks, t-shirt); first time registrations will receive a Sol SC Adidas Backpack
  • Cal South Membership, Fields, League fee (minimum 10 game circuit ), Fall Referees, Insurance
  • State Cup Entry Fee (Note: Referee fees, travel expenses, and parking may be additional costs)
  • 1 Spring Tournament or Spring League Entry (decided by team and coach)

Uniform Ordering

The next step in the process is to purchase uniforms. We have a two-year uniform cycle, which helps a bit to control costs. Uniforms are purchased directly through Soccerloco.com. Teams will be assigned times for fittings, within a few weeks of placements results. Payment must be made upon ordering and at a cost of approximately $130-150.
